Privacy Policy

PianoPracticeLab ("we", "us") operates pianopracticelab.com. This policy explains what we collect, the specific tools involved, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Your email address — only if you ask for the 30-Day Plan or our emails. We use it to deliver the plan and send our practice tips and recommendations. You can unsubscribe from any email in one click.
- Outbound link counts — when you click a link to a partner product, we record which offer was clicked, which page it was clicked from, and the country the request came from. This is a plain first-party counter: no cookies, no identifiers, nothing traceable to you. We use it to see which recommendations are actually useful.
- Analytics — anonymous usage data (pages visited, device type) via Google Analytics 4, when it is enabled. It loads only after consent where consent is required, and never when we detect a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.
The tools we use
- Consent & hosting. The site runs on Cloudflare. Our cookie-consent layer is a first-party, geo-aware banner served at the edge (the WPConsent model): visitors in the EU/EEA and UK get an opt-in banner and analytics are blocked until they accept; visitors in California see a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" control and we honor GPC as an opt-out; elsewhere, standard analytics apply. To determine which regime applies, Cloudflare provides us a coarse, approximate location (country and region) from your IP address — we do not store your IP.
- Email. Our email list and welcome sequence are run through Sequenzy, our email service provider. Your address and email engagement (opens, clicks, unsubscribes) are processed by Sequenzy on our behalf so we can send and improve these emails.
- Affiliate networks. Some links go to partner products through affiliate networks — currently ClickBank (for the Piano For All course) and, over time, networks such as Amazon Associates, Awin, Impact, and FlexOffers. When you click one of these links, the network may set its own cookie to attribute a later purchase to us. That cookie is governed by the network's and merchant's privacy policies, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information. We don't share your email with third parties for their own marketing. We use it to send you the plan and our emails, and nothing else.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in every email. We honor Global Privacy Control signals. If you are in California, you can use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" control shown in our footer; note that we do not sell personal information in the first place. California residents and EU/UK/EEA visitors have additional rights under applicable law (access, correction, deletion) — contact us to exercise them and we will respond as the law requires. Rules and rights vary by jurisdiction.
